Recap from the HLBSA’s inaugural Future Leaders Session
The HLBSA would like to take this opportunity to thank all who attended the session and also those who showed your support for the HLBSA Future Leaders session. A special thanks to Vicky Escrojin, Carolina Figueredo and Alfeu Pinto who worked tirelessly to put this session together.
Highlights of the event:
There was an audience of nearly 60 attendees that consisted of current HLBSA and BBSA members, prospective students, alumni, faculty, corporate representatives, NSHMBA representatives, and even Dean Dolan!!!
Darys Estrella Mordan delivered a magnificent speech on the key aspects that make a leader great. She drew examples from her own experience and even made us laugh with some anecdotes relevant to her experience in business and government. It was incredible!
Professor Jeffrey Sanchez-Burks, Faculty Advisor for HLBSA, congratulated the HLBSA leadership and membership for making this year one of the best years in the history of the organization.
The first annual HLBSA Leadership award was presented to Xavier Benavides for his demonstration of leadership and service while at Ross. Congratulations Xavier!
Again, thank you to everyone who made this happen. Next year promises to be even better!
